Research On The Originality Strategy Of Modern Automobile Expo Building

The auto expo building is a building type which was born with the development of the automobile industry, mainly containing the automobile museum, automobile exhibition hall and automobile theme park. With the popularity of automobiles and the widespread dissemination of auto culture, the auto expo building is also experiencing a rapid development period. In this decade, a number of domestic and foreign well-known Expo Building have been completed such as Mercedes-Benz Museum、Porsche Museum、Beijing automobile museum and so on. These buildings attract much attention by their distinctive originality and wild visual fantasies, Causing A new round of upsurge of auto expo buildings. At the same time, automakers always build the Stage for their cars through other opportunities such as Auto Show and World Expo. Cars along with architecture promot the cultural communication and brand marketing.As the growing number of auto expo buildings, the concept of Architecture is keeping pace with the times,leading to more requirement to our design. Architecture needs originality. Originality become one of the most important determinant to expo buildings, which is a kind of building style ahead the time.The paper begin with the originality of expo building, proposing the place, art and technology as the basic entry level of originality strategies. On the base of the analysis of the correlative cases, the paper carry on further studies from three aspects:the strategies for creating the place of automobile theme, the strategies for translating the art of automobile esthetics, and the strategies for transferring the technology of automobile spirit,Then discussing the problems about regional and culture, space and route, form and interface, technology and media methods, prososing a set of maneuverable and effective measures. Finally, combining with the design of Anping Auto expo center,the research coming back to Practice. This paper is based on a new angle of view, combining the innovative research content with the pioneering research method, exploring new ideas of modern auto expo buildings’design. I hope the findings will provide help for our country’s current construction.
