Fiber reinforced composite material is composed of reinforcing fibers and matrix, categories include carbon fiber (CFRP) and glass fiber (GFRP) and aramid fiber (AFRP). Because of the advantages of high strength, fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance, the technique of fiber sheet reinforcement is applied in engineering field and become a highly efficient technology in strengthening concrete structures. With the improvement of the finite element theory and computer technology, using finite element analysis software to simulate high strength concrete beams reinforced by carbon fiber has become a trend.Firstly, this paper introduces failure mode, the bonding mechanism of the fiber sheet reinforcement concrete beams and the main factors influencing the bearing capacity. It forms a theoretic foundation for the establishment of model and the analysis of the results. Secondly, introducing the selected test, including the design of experiment and material properties. Then, selecting steel, concrete, fiber sheet and block element. Setting the steel, concrete and fiber sheet constitutive relation, dividing mesh and load step, choosing convergence relation. They will make preparations for the establishment of the finite element model. Finally, using the selected test data and establishing the nonlinear finite element model of carbon fiber reinforced high strength concrete beams. Calculating six test beams and simulating the whole process of loading. Getting the ultimate load, load-displacement curve, the load and strain curve and fracture development of each test beam by post-processing. Through the comparison of the finite element calculation results and test results, this paper gets that the two results are basically identical and finite element analysis can be used as an effective complementary means to analyze the bending resistance properties of high strength concrete beams; It can greatly improve the ultimate bearing capacity of high strength concrete beams. But under the influence of efficiency, they are not a linear relationship; Due to this paper uses discrete model, not considering the bond-slip between steel and concrete and using the method of common node, so it will influence the calculating precision on certain degree. In order to improve the precision of calculation, we can can choose other ways such as spring element. It will provide reference for the other finite element analysis.
