Since the industrial revolution, the creation and use of all kinds of mechanical equipment, has brought human prosperity and progress, but also produced more and stronger noise. Noise pollution has now become one of the four major environmental problems worldwide with water pollution, air pollution and solid waste pollution. So the research of sound insulation has been urgent.In this paper, I make a serious of study of sound insulation about point connection damping composite panels, what is very common in our life, and then analysis the impact of some objective conditions on the sound transmission loss. Aim to features of point connection composite panels, this paper study properties of single board first, and combine with acoustic wave propagation characteristics in solids, derive a new method to calculate the amount of noise, and compare with the traditional Mass Law to verify its credibility finally.For the affects of surface waves in solids and board stiffeners, this paper also carried out a detailed analysis and calculations. For acoustic damping of the plates, I use the method of statistical energy analysis to calculate the energy loss rate, and then take it to the sound transmittance and the acoustic reflectivity, and finally calculate the sound-insulated capability when considering energy loss damping composite panels sound insulation performance. Finally, the calculation formula of the adhesive damping composite panels is deduced to compare with point connection damping composite panels. Then calculate the sound insulations of the two situations and compare them to get the conclusions.
