For better fulfilling the soot blowing operation of the power station boiler heating surface and solving the economic and safety problems of power plant boiler caused by heating surface fouling, combined the acoustic thermometry with support vector machines, the fouling monitoring model of boiler convective heating surface is established and a set of power station boiler heating surfaces fouling monitoring system is developed.The basic principles of acoustic thermometry and support vector machine is introduced, combined with the actual situation of the power plant, the construction process of the convective heating surface fouling monitoring model is described in detail, which combined acoustic thermometry with support vector machine combined, including the model input parameters choice, data collection and screening, pre-processing of the data, the kernel function of choice and so on. For study, the model is used in a power plant boiler, it proves the feasibility of this model with the actual boiler soot blowing operation. As the same time, under the same conditions we establish the widely used neural network monitoring model for comparison with the present model, the contrast results also further validate the accuracy of the model.In order that the convective heating surface fouling monitoring model combining acoustic temperature and support vector machine is applied to the actual, using MATLAB programming language, acoustic pyrometry measurement system, support vector machines, SQL server database and GUI graphical interface settings, etc., it develops a complete set of heating surface fouling monitoring system, and display and analysis the system operator interface.
