A Research Into The Curing Characteristics Of Huizhou Garden

Huizhou Garden, which originated from Huizhou and developed in Huizhou andother areas, refers to a kind of gardens with obvious characteristics of Hui culture.With its unique inherent features, Huizhou Garden has established its own system,which not only makes it an important and relatively independent component ofgarden on the Yangtze Delta, but also has created a separate school in the field ofChinese classical garden.In this essay, basic study about the concept, the history, the natural andhumanistic background, the positioning and the category has been carried on firstly.Secondly, both the horizontal and vertical analysis have been done about thecomponent elements, the mode of construction, the symbolic characteristic, thespace, the method of construction and the pursuit of artistic conception. Comparedwith the gardens with similar characteristics, the curing characteristics of HuizhouGarden has been summarized. Lastly, taking the curing characteristics of HuizhouGarden as the point of departure, the design ideas and procedures of New Hui-styleLandscape have been studied. Moreover, the existing typical cases of NewHui-style Landscape were specifically analysed in order to offer some references tothe design ideas and procedures of New Hui-style Landscape, which is acomtribution of the curing characteristics of Huizhou Garden to the design of NewHui-style Landscape. In this essay, we would like to share some new thoughts aboutthe development of Huizhou Garden so as to accelerate the scientific developmentof New Hui-style Landscape.
