Research And Application Of Verification Methods On Functional Safety Temperature Transmitter

Verification techniques of functional safety temperature transmitter, under the guidance of IEC61508, are used to analyze the design of functional safety temperature transmitter and to verify whether it meets the requirements of safety integrity level. The verification is an essentional part in the design process of the safety temperature transmitter. By the implementation of verification techniques, it can greatly reduce the probability of risk in the application process and improve the safety performance to reduce the final cost.This paper studies the theoretical basisi of verification techniques, including safety integrity levels and structure, calculation methods of hardware safety integrity level, white-box and black-box testing methods in software testing. From the points of hardware, sofrware, software combined with haraware, this paper studies the vetification methods and the their application.Firstly, in terms of hardware verification, this paper analyzes the failure rate of various components with FMEDA, designs the diagnosis methods and studies the calculation methods of hardware safety integrity level. Sencondly, in terms of software verification, this paper mainly studies the static testing analysis and dynamic testing analysis.Finally,in terms of integrated testing, this psper studies the building of testing platform, the testing analysis of functional safety, input and output, power supply, diagnosis, environment effecs and so on.Through verification with the safety design techniques, hardware design meets the requirement of SIL2and software design meets the requirement of SIL3.
