The type of high building foundation lies on engineering geology, upper structural system, magnitude of pole load, construction condition and so on. What we must know fist are the elements and modes of building foundation before we design it. Only in that way, we can go along a count by rule and line, and make it more securely and rationally.Tectonic plate extending foundation is a new type of foundation which is different from the spread foundation and the raft foundation. Spread foundation of reinforced concrete in column and plate tectonic plate by column, foundation and structure of bottom are poured into one. This foundation has higher bearing capacity than the spread foundation, and has more economic benefits than the rafts. In order to understand the working mechanism of the foundation, which makes the design more safety and more reasonable, We must carry on the further exploration and research.This paper is in combination with test research of the Liaoning Provincial Museum tectonic plate extending foundation reaction force and internal force. We can get the ground reaction force distribution:it looks like waves on the whole, the bottom of the based has the maximum expansion force, the force value is at the minimum in midspan.Adopt the formula of distribution of ground reaction force to adjust and calculate the measured ground reaction force and make analysis bye ANSYS software.the integral and separate model simulation study shows:the base plate steel of expansion is always by the pulling force, the center position endures the maximum tension stress, tensile stress decreases gradually by the Foundation Center to both sides of the foundation reinforcement, while in the column strip tensile stress gradually become compressive stress, the value of the compressive stress gradually increase with increasing distance and spread foundation.A series of experiments and Simulation Study on tectonic plate spread foundation in this paper provides an important reference value for foundation design. If we can reasonable use this new foundation in engineering, we will get considerable economic benefits. This new type of foundation has widely applied prospect and application value.
