Based on the systematic analysis of the experiment and theory, and the existing research results of Considering previous relevant rectangular or circular, square and other forms of steel tubeconcrete filled beam section of the structural behavior, practical calculating methods for loading bearing capacity of The elliptical steel tube concrete beam with endplate under axial partial compression were suggested. The main research works were summarized in detail as follows:Eight pure bending were tested systematically. Analyzes the shear span ratio, the thickness of the steel tube and long shaft length of beam parameters such as bearing capacity, ductility and damage to the influence of the form, and its mechanical properties make evaluation. The finite element analysis models corresponding to the tests were developed by nonlinear finite element software ABAQUS. By comparison, the predicted results are in good agreenment with the measured results. And then, the veracity of the finite element analogy was demonstrated. The further finite element analysis using ABAQUS, was carried out.The main parameters influence on the mechanical properties of The elliptical steel tube concrete beam such as Shear span ratio, material strength, the thickness of the steel tube, the long axis length and the length of short axis of endplate were further analysed. The elliptical steel tube concrete beam Suggestions the bearing capacity of the practical calculation method, and use of the bearing capacity of the proposed calculation formula of the test and simulation examples and the bearing capacity calculation, results, the reliability of the bearing capacity calculation method and practical find...
