Design And Realization Of Intelligent Baby Scale Based On Android OS

Body weight is an important indicator of infant nutrition and developmental status, is also a fundamental basis of science nursery. Because baby weight faster and non-linear growth, it is necessary to measure baby weight periodically in the longer time span. Traditional baby weight measurement is mainly dependent on hospital physical examination, the biggest shortcoming of this approach is long cycle, and not timely feedback. With the rapid development of intelligent healthcare devices, smart mobile communications technology and cloud storage technology, baby weight information is gradually achieve collected automation, electronic storage and statistical family oriented, which has important implications for the promotion of scientific infant feeding.This article reviews body weight scale status and development trends at first, also introduces the Android OS which is commonly used in smartphone devices today. Then design requirement analysis of baby scale is done from functionality, performance, communication, and system compatibility aspects. The whole design is made up of software and hardware two parts. Intelligent baby scale hardware consists of four parts, which are body weight information measure module, single-chip microcomputer control module, power supply module and interface module. C805IF340microcontroller Reprocesses data collected by HX711A/D converter chip, and sends to Android smart device (upper monitor)through USB or Bluetooth comunication protocols. These data will be stored in a SQLite database by a application software runs on Android smart device. AchartEngine chart library is used to design a data analysis module,which can make a statistical analysis of the weight records stored in the SQLite database, the analyze results can be shared to WECHAT platforms simultaneously. Finally, functionality and stability of the system are tested to verify that the system can work stable and smoothly.
