With the rapid development of socio-economic, the problems of the increasing energy consumption and deteriorating environment are coming to our world. This is a severe challenge for the sustained development of human, developing and making use of the new energy resources is the most effective way to solve this challenge. Solar energy is considered to be one of the most promising green energy, at the same time the solar photovoltaic technology is one of the most potential of renewable energy technologies. It is significant to research on improving the conversion efficiency of PV system.This paper selected STPO95OS-36model of independent photovoltaic cells for the study, in order to maximize the use of solar energyas the ultimate goal, the models of independent photovoltaic power generation system of maximum power point tracking control of the theoretical ands imulation.Photovoltaic power generation system based photovoltaic array output characteristics of the problem is, this first use of Matlab/Simulink to establish a photovoltaic array simulation model, to solve the complicated proeess of establishment of photovoltaic array model shortcomings, for the realization of photovoltaic system simulation and system design provide the basis for assurance.Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method for photovoltaic systems an important means to improve system efficiency. This paper describes the output characteristics of photovoltaic arrays and the simulation model based on the maximum power point tracking method and principle, introduces several common MPPT method, and compare the advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms. Taking into account the solar PV systems are often affected by external factors, it is difficult to determine system parameters, and has a strong non-linear, so this paper, a adaptive fuzzy logic control technology for STP0950S-36type of independent photovoltaic systems to a adaptive fuzzy controller design method, and using MATLAB/SIMULINK, fuzzy logic toolbox for simulation tools such as maximum power point control, adaptive fuzzy control simulation results of MPPT with fixed step method compared to fixed-step method was found to reach steady there is a certain state after the fluctuation, which results in energy waste, and fuzzy control method for tracking MPPT fast, good dynamic response, to reach steady state with almost no fluctuation, can be stable, efficient maximum power point tracking solar array meanwhile, in the sunlight intensity, temperature and other system parameters perturbations, can quickly find a new operating point, to maintain system stability. Simulation results show that the fuzzy control applied to the maximum power point tracking is feasible and has good dynamic and static performance.The hardware design of system controller, including detection module of signal、PWM drive module、control module of DSP and main topology of DC-DC module are designed, giving the forms of circuit. At the same time, operating modes of the main topology and the parameters of the circuit are analyzed and calculated and make the MPPT system in a stable condition. In software, on the basis of the adaptive fuzzy arithmetic, programs of the maximum power point tracking control are designed.
