Diagrid structural system is a new structural system who has strong overall stiffness and spatial adaptation. It is generally used for high-rise and complex building structures currently. Based on the common multi-ribbed composite structures and combined the advantages of diagrid system, inclined multi-ribbed composite wall is proposed as a new kind of prefabricated building element."Technical specification for multi-ribbed composite panel structures" was promulgated in2013which was written by us. But it was still lack of study on application of composite wall with inclined multi-ribs in building structure field. Based on former theoretical results, this paper carries on research to incline multi-ribbed composite walls’ stress characteristics, failure patterns and seismic performance with two frame multi-ribbed composite walls’ tests, finite element analysis method and theoretical study. The main content is as follows:1. Based on the quasi-static contrast tests of the two frame-supported multi-ribbed composite walls, the failure patterns, hysteretic behavior, stiffness degradation rules and the strain rules of steel bars are analyzed.2. A reasonable finite analysis model has been created with software abaqus. Based on nonlinear finite element analysis, the walls’ whole process of the development of the internal force and deformation have been simulated accurately and simply. Then compare the simulation results, the effect on frame’s bearing capacity and stiffness of the incline ribs is analyzed.3. Based on experimental tests and numerical simulation analysis, the inclined multi-ribbed composite wall’s axial bearing capacity, stiffness and shear bearing capacity are calculated by theoretical analysis. Empirical formulas for those mentioned above are put forward.In this paper, experimental study and finite element analysis are used to summarize the inclined multi-ribbed composite wall’s internal force and deformation development laws. Simplified stiffness, vertical bearing capacity and shear bearing capacity formulas are put forward to provide some reference for the future engineering applications of composite walls with inclined multi-ribs.
