The shield is a kind of important construction method of tunnel construction, with its construction technique features and advanced security etc. has been used more and more widely in metro construction. But the shield construction inevitable will cause the surface subsidence, when the settlement is too large, it will endanger the stable of surrounding buildings, structures and underground pipelines, resulting in serious economic losses and social impacts. Based on the202tender of Dalian Metro Line2in this article, lots of monitoring data in construction were analyzed to study the laws and influence factors of surface subsidence during shield tunneling process, discussed the selection and control principles of machines parameters in shield tunneling.Three dimensional numerical simulations are performed on the tvnneling process, using the finite element software ABAQUS in this article, considering the construction space, construction quality, the nonlinear of soil, the synergistic effect between soil and segment, through the comparison of finite element analysis and the actual monitoring data, obtained the fitting results. In theory, studied the formation damage and rock deformation levels caused by shield construction from multiple dimensions, discussed the influence of double shield, strengthening treatment, the buried depth of tunnel and ground buildings such as viaduct on construction settlement. After a lot of calculation and analysis, some useful results have been obtained, which could provide some theoretical guidance for the subway tunnel construction in Dalian and some other similar geological conditions. Given the defects of ABAQUS software and author’s limited level, proposed the optimization scheme of numerical simulation and some improvement ideas for future research, which could be drew slightly.
