Water will produce a large number of settlement of collapsible loess, collapsibleloess is classified as a kind of special soil, in view of the water properties ofsettlement, we must consider the impact of buildings which is caused by collapsiblesettlement when builded on collapsible loess ground. In order to ensure the safety ofthe building and eliminate settlement threaten, we need to select a appropriateprocessing technology which can reinforce the collapsible loess foundation.Waste residue pile which is formed by the deep hole dynamic compactionmethod is called thrusted expanded pile in the technical specifications of foundationtreatment. the reinforcement of the poor foundation, the original natural soilengineering properties were improved, has a significant role to improve the bearingcapacity of foundation, and can consume part of construction waste, is a kind ofenvironmental friendly technology of ground treatment type. Using the columnhammer impact pile after treatment technology of collapsible loess foundation is high,the anti liquefaction ability strong, foundation settlement has small capacity, unevenground improvement, collapsible disappeared, the porosity decreases, get theextensive application in the engineering. But in front of the question before us isthrusted expanded pile composite foundation processing lag very serious technicalresearch on the theory, we must accelerate the theoretical research of the thrustedexpanded pile composite foundation, so that we can make the technology more andmore applicational and developmental.This paper focuses on the research of collapsible loess and composite foundationrelated theory, through the research can be concluded that the thrusted expanded pilecomposite foundation can be very good to eliminate the collapsibility of loess, for thetreatment of soft ground can also achieve better results. And verified by engineeringexamples.By using the finite element simulation software plaxis to simulate the single pilemodel, and the simulation results were compared with the measured value, analyzedthe reasons for both the errors. To demonstrate the applicability of finite elementsimulation software plaxis to thrusted expanded pile composite foundation aresimulated.
