| The power plays an extremely important role and controls the lifeline of the national economy, so the requirements of the power continuity and stability are increasing. But as a large, highly complex dynamic system, the power system is often at different disturbances leading to inevitable failures. In order to make the right judgments on failure and facilitate the recovery of power system fault, it is required to identify the failed components of power system, misoperations and unmoved protections and switches rapidly and accurately on the exact environment. With the increase of size, capacity and coverage of modern grid, varieties of monitoring equipments have been widely used in dispatching center.Considering the typical structure of real power system, a simulated loop power system experiment platform with laboratory scale and lumped parameters is designed. The platform includes all sorts of possible short-circuit fault type module on power system network transmission lines, and develops the conditions on the softwares of Kingview, Twido PLC and the EDA9033data acquisition system. Setting two communication parts of the Kingview and PLC, Kingview and the data acquisition module, it realizes the communication of the control interface and various devices and finally achieves the online monitoring and fault diagnosis simulation for power system. The system interface based on Kingview has lively visual image and convenient to control, suitable for the intelligent system. For another part, the electrical components failure and abnormal states of the system can’t be avoided but the accident can be prevented. Therefore, the protective relay equipments is designed, which will quickly act on the circuit breakers, cut off the power supply of failure components, or send a signal to the operators on duty to handle it in time which prevents accidents or reduces the rang of accidents while improving the reliability of the system. By debugging and operating of experimental platform, it proves that the applications of power system fault diagnosis in experimental platform of simulated loop grid are qualified with the anticipated functions and practical value. |
