Studies On The Application Of Natural Light In Libraries’ Design

There are higher levels of construction standards,requirements and function for architectural use,creating a better environment to meet the needs of different people with the rapid development of the society.However,in order to do so it’s inevitable to consume resources and electricity is one of the severely consumed. An indispensable issue to be considered about environmental protection and energy saving has radually been put forward to the construction tides since people’s attention has been paid to energy in recent years with the development of construction energy conservation.As for the library,it has a main feature of earlier opening time,relatively late closing time,and high frequency of use.As aresult,it’s important,in particular, to ensure lighting requirements of the library’s reading room and the various requirements of reading environment which should have consumed huge energy in the construction with the help of natural light in libraries’design.For this reason,natural light could provide a better reading environment for readers to realize energy saving and emission reduction in the library construction.Thus,the article is of great significance in the use of natural light in libraries’design.
