Wind power generation communication tower is a tower combines the wind powerinfrastructure with common communication base station. The new tower not only withstandload from common communication tower but also withstand the loads from the powergeneration facilities load on tower is very complex.It has very broad application prospectsespecially in saving energy, improving communication coverage in remote areas, andimproving market competitiveness. Therefore, the study of wind power communication towerdamping has very important theoretical significance and application value.After a comprehensive overview on the relevant literature about the new structure.we usethe method combined the static and dynamic analysis (time history analysis) to make acomprehensive analysis about the static and dynamic performance of the new structure,vibration control study was also carried out. The load characteristics of the tower weresummarized Research direction on the new structure were also put forward in the end of thepaper.Displacement on the top of the tower will increased after geometric nonlinearityconsidered in static analysis. So the new tower is controlled by displacement. it is necessary tomake vibration control to limit the displacement on the top.During the dynamic analysis,author use the method of linear filtering through matlab tosimulate the wind history.We make dynamic analysis by SAP2000. The results showed that thethe internal forces, displacement were exceed the specification limits.So we should make avibration control.The internal forces, displacement can effectively reduced after the analysis of vibrationcontrol.it create the conditions for the antennas’ normal use, also save material and reduce costunder meeting the technical requirements.The above analysis shows that:the results under dynamic analysis were larger than theresults based on the specification. therefore, it is necessary to use dynamic analysis during thetowers’ design. If using the results of static analysis to design.the results should be enlarged.The research results can can provide a basis for further study and Engineering Application...
