Study On Application Of Cultural Heritage On Wooden Architecture In The Modern Interior Design

Wood-based building occupies an important position in the river of architectural history. As themain materials of traditional Chinese architecture, Wood always inspires nostalgia and imagination ofhistory. As the accumulation of human wisdom, wood culture can affords us more lessons inconstruction of urban living environment.Recent years, the concept of cultural heritage on wooden architecture continuous develops andchanges following from that the concept of cultural heritage widely used. The form of this conceptemphasizes absorption and refinery of the modern life to Chinese traditional culture, in order to carryforward the essence of the wood culture and inherit features of wooden architectural heritage. Culturalheritage on wooden architecture is an important part of Chinese splendid civilization. It has a longhistory and rich cultural heritage. In the view of architectural type, Chinese cultural heritage onwooden architecture can be divided into five parts, namely, wooden palace building, wooden religiousbuilding, wooden garden architecture, wooden vernacular dwellings and other wooden architecture. Inthe view of features analysis, cultural heritage on wooden architecture has a lot of merits, likeecological beauty, formal beauty, artistic beauty, connotation beauty and so on, which has guidingsignificance to its application in modern interior design.This paper studies characteristics and development of cultural heritage on wooden architecture.Based on the overall thought of modern interior design development, like architecturization,naturalization, high nationalization and personalization, it detailed analysis artistic features,performance practices, modeling features and decorative ideas of structural components, decorativecomponents and other components in cultural heritage on wooden architecture. Try experimentingsubject matter, cultural meaning and decorative features of cultural heritage on wooden architecturecombined with modern technologies, processes, materials and continuous improvement of people’sspiritual, aesthetic needs, in order to create an interior space with a richer soul, more cultural intensionand national qualities. The paper sums up a set of methods which is suitable for the application ofcultural heritage on wooden architecture to modern interior design, including direct reference,extraction then reconstruction and combination with modern materials and technology. So as tosought in the future development of cultural heritage on wooden architecture in new Chinese design,retro design and green design. On this basis, it combines with practical cases, analysis specific application of cultural heritage on wooden architecture in modern interior design, which hasfar-reaching significance in inheritance of wood culture and development of traditional architecture,and it will play a strong guiding role and application role to the interior design practice.
