This article is based on freeze injury of Lan-Xin railway in Lanzhou Railway Administration,by the freeze injury investigation of three sectors including LanXi, WuWei, JiaYuGuan, Combining freeze injury date material and subgrade material which were accumulated over the years and basic geological, and hydrological data of Lan-Xin railway. Careful analysis on freeze injury of Lan-Xin railway paragraphs regularity and characteristics of the occurrence and development, At the same time according to the lanxin railway, mechanism of ballast bed and subgrade freezing damage, Study on maintenance method of freeze injury and make conclusion. Highlights some basic methods such as, ballast bed replacement and geo-membrane closure, ballast bed mechanical cleaning, grouting, salt xing, dewatering and drainage holes in the upper part of bridges and culverts. And according to the line state after dealing brief analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of various measures is made, elaborating adaptability scope on the various measures, and analyzing on the effect of various measures by Freezing injury research of Lanzhou Railway Administration, other work sectors for the future regulation useful technical reference will be provided, the quality of treatment of freeze injury is effectively improved, freezing injury premises are greatly reduced, the workload for maintenance personnel is reduced, maintenance cost is saved, and ensure the safety of railway lines and smooth transportation are ensured.
