The exhaust of thermal power plant contains large amounts of harmful gases and dust, these gases and dust polluted the environment seriously and affect the health of nearby residents. As the state strict limits on Air Pollutant Emission of thermal power plant, the thermal power plant emissions to be processed, due to the WESP significant effect in dedusting, which is widely used in exhaust governance of thermal power plant.Dust Collector is composed by Dust collector body and support, due to the complexity of the internal structure and process requirement, Dust collector body is designed by heat engine professionals; The support most choice steel frame structure, which has the features of simple structure and stressing definite, is designed by civil engineering professionals. Design of Dust Collector is based on separate calculating of Dust collector body and support, ignoring their interaction. Based on the reconstruction project of the Dust Collector 8 in Huang Tai thermal power plant, Study on Coordinated Working Performance of WESP with Steel Support under static, dynamic and stability.The simplified calculation model of Dust Collector is steel frame structure with support. MIDAS/Gen finite element software was used to establish the three-dimensional finite element model of Dust Collector. According to the real operation status, consider the dead load,live load,running negative pressure, temperature, load, wind load, earthquake and load combination, and carries out static analysis to Dust collectorcalculation of static operating modes were carried out on Dust collector, and contrasted the displacement, axial force and moment,which are calculated under the load combination Ⅰ and Ⅳ for framework KJ4 between Alone and whole. Obtained Coordinated Working Performance of WESP with Steel Support.Dynamic analysis carried out on the Dust collector, and got natural vibration period and modes based on modal analysis of MIDAS / Gen. Comparative analysis of the main vibration period, it is found that separate calculation period is slightly greater than whole. Adopted the EL Centro typical earthquake waves, time-history analysis carried out on the Dust collector, considered the impact of different input direction of earthquake waves, and contrasted the top displacement of Dust collector body and displacement, velocity, acceleration time-history which calculated under earthquake waves for the top of the crossbar and hopper bottom beams. Obtained Coordinated Working Performance of WESP with Steel Support.The overall instability of the structures belongs to the brittle failure often occurring suddenly. Which is hard to find in structure normal use and not easy to take remedial measures, therefore the whole structure instability often leads to more serious consequences. In order to learn buckling mode and number of the Dust collector. the eigenvalue buckling analysis is carried out.
