The Wetland Landscape Construction Of "Guizhong Waterside Town" In Laibin, Guangxi

City wetland can regulate urban micro-climate, purify polluted environment and create suitable human settlement. The project of "Guizhong waterside town", through "channeling water into town", creates a connected and recyclable city water network while it builds landscape constructions in every waterfront to form wetland landscapes. This essay further researches and summarizes wetland landscape construction of "Guizhong waterside town" in Laibin city based on former researches of "wetland landscape construction". The research includes plant landscape in wetland landscape of "Guizhong waterside town", garden facilities landscape, water landscape, animal landscape, revetment landscape and cultural landscape and so on. Main research outcomes are:(1)It collects former theoretical research documents on city wetland landscape construction, summarizes related concepts, features, constructing elements, basic types, principles, construction methods and related theoretical guidance of city wetland landscape construction, and goes through research developments of city wetland landscape construction from home and abroad, which prepares a full referencing materials and theory foundations for writer’s research.(2) From the research of wetland landscape resources, there are some results:The mall garden ornaments has 25 garden furnitures (combination),397 garden chairs,1830 lamps and lanterns,111 indicators,85 signboards,180 warning signs and 74 sculptures. The garden architecture has 5 pavilions,60 corridor and stands,23 garden bridges. There are 77 amusement fitness facilities. The garden service facilities have 294 dustbins,10 toilets,68 wharfs and viewing platforms,20 staff duty rooms. In terms of wetland plant, a total of 170 survey area existing plants, belonging to 70 families and 133 genera, including 53 species of trees,68 species of shrubs,5 species of vines,33 species of herbaceous plants and 11 species of bamboos. In landscape water body and revetment’s survey, the results are:water landscape is given priority to natural type, revetment landscape is given priority to natural revetment type.;In terms of garden road and pavement materials, the road divided into the main road, second road and swim trails, the main pavement materials are pebbles, permeable asphalt and cement concrete. In the aspect of cultural landscape, "zhuang culture" and "pangu culture" is the main content. sculptures, wall sign and shop are the main carrier to show of the culture.(3) It organizes the research outcomes and analyzes landscape effects and main landscape scenes of wetland landscape construction. It also summarizes landscape features, they are:Combining the point landscape, line landscape, and surface landscape;landscape nodes have uniform distribution and high reachability;wetland landscape facilities which with the environmental protection material and ample sculpt can satisfy the tourist;rich native plant species, community level, characteristic;effective planting landscapes and perfectly combination of landscaping styles in both ancient and modern times; cost performance in wetland landscape construction.There are shortness in its humanized design, its effectiveness in landscape facilities and road maintenance and its richness in aquatic plants;its animals lack.(4) Through the questionnaire research,the auther found that citizens hold an optimistic attitude on the construction and development of wetland landscape of "GuiZhong waterside".Through the analysis of the "price" of it,the auther found that the construction could bring enormous value to Laibin, including economic value, social value and environmental value.(5) It summarizes writer’s research outcomes and gives suggestions to provide reference for follow-up construction of Laibin, and also offer literature reference for same types of constructions in other districts.
