Color is a language of nature which is not the painters’ patent. It was widely used in the planning and construction management in the city. The quality of urban colorscape planning do a lot to the urban color environment. An excellent urban colorscape planning can not only guide us planning the colorscape, but also ensure the inheritance of the traditional culture.This paper analyzes the current situation in Nanning’s colorscape application by combing the motheds of the literature, field surveys, questionnaires, the main research results are as follows:1. Review of domestic and foreign research methods on urban color landscape research, frontier research, development trends and practice of color application.2. Combining the method of random and typical sampling, select Nanning urban buildings, roads, squares, urban furniture, urban transport and other major color carriers through taking pictures on site, collect color-related information, investigation Nanning urban district the basic situation of color application.3. Research on the Characteristics of Nanning colorscape, the main features are:(1) Zhuang Autonomous distinctive national characteristics; (2) a long history of the overhang culture; (3) unique night scene.4.
