Green manufacturing is a sustainable development mode for modern manufacturing industry. Its goal is to minimize resource consumption, environment impact and human safety hazards during product life cycle. And finally, realize the coordinated development of enterprise’s economic benefit and social benefit. Green manufacturing process planning is one of the key technologies of green manufacturing. It is a kind of planning method which based on the technique and process optimization to reduce the resource consumption and environmental impact in the process of manufacturing. Green manufacturing process planning is not the negation of traditional process planning, but the extension and deepening of the traditional process planning. It takes into account the effect of technology on resources and environment. And it is more adapt to the development needs of the modern society, but also an important means to improve the green degree of processing technology.This paper mainly focuses on some key technologies of process planning for green manufacturing. It is including process element planning and process planning. The following aspects are studied in this paper:(1)The situation and development trend of green manufacturing and green manufacturing process planning at home and abroad are summarized. The research significance is introduced.(2)The concept of machining process and process planning for green manufacturing is introduced. Resource circulation model of cutting process system is established according to the connotation of green manufacturing process planning. The characteristics of environmental impact and resource consumption are analyzed.(3)By analyzing the decision-making objectives and constraint factors, an optimization model of tool selection for green manufacturing is established and it takes time, cost, quality, energy consumption and environmental pollution for the overall optimization goal. It used the analytic hierarchy process and the improved ELECTRE method to achieve solution and determine the optimal scheme. At last, an example is given to prove the validity of the method.(4)According to the machine tool spindle, this paper put forward a decision-making method of process routes in green manufacturing. This method is designed to optimize the manufacturing process and reduce energy consumption. By analyzing the precedence relations between processing units, an operation digraph is established. After using the group topological sorting and the overall topological sort algorithm, all feasible routes are found. Then we can get the optimal process route of spindle machining by evaluating the optimal standard.(5)An optimization model of the scheduling of flexible job shop for green manufacturing is been built. The goal of the model is the optimal completed time and minimal energy consumption and environmental impact. And genetic algorithm is used to solve the model. According to the model characteristics, it uses two ways to encode(machines chromosomes and processes chromosomes). This paper improved the formation mechanism of initial population. The elite strategy and championship method is used to select the species and two chromosomes respectively for crossover and mutation operation. The improved genetic algorithm is tested with an instance used other methods and compared with the test results, which shows that the improved genetic algorithm is effective for solving FJSP.
