The thesis depending on the development and manufacturing projects of snow removal technology on railway tracks, which is the research program of Shijiazhuang Tiedao University, optimize and research on structure and properties of helical rotor type snow-remover’s snow collecting device and snow throwing device. According to the research of different types of snow, vehicle traction mechanism, the helical blade of snow collecting device and the fan blade of snow throwing device, proposed relevant improvement program. The research contents include dynamics analysis of ABAQUS spiral blade cutting snow, which is based on the modeling with Solid Works; The fluid analysis snow throwing device’s centrifugal fan based on CFD; Analysis and calculation of the vehicle and snow removal device; On the basis of the analysis, calculation conclusion to improve the design.The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:(1) Summarize the research status and development trend of snow-remover at home and abroad, classify the snow-remover according to the working principle and the configuration of snow-remover.(2) C lassify the mixture of ice and snow according to the formation mechanism and characteristics. Doing analysis and study on density, moisture, thermal conductivity and other physical properties and compressive strength, shear strength, friction coefficient and other mecha nical properties.(3) Analogy the different forms and structures of snow-remover’s host, snow removal equipment and power system, determine the overall design scheme of snow-remover, complete the calculation of host power and the parameter design of all components.(4) Doing mechanical and kinematical analysis on the process of spiral cutting ice and finite element analysis of three-dimensional nonlinear dynamic contact, optimize the lift angle of spiral cutter, determine the optimal pitch.(5) Calculate snow throwing height, snow collecting efficiency and power consumption of fan. Doing fluid dynamics analysis of snow throwing process, get the distribution and stress condition of internal flow field pressure of centrifugal fan. Calculate and analyse the structure of centrifugal fan.
