Multifunctional Design Of Lamp Packaging

Package is the indispensable component of the commodity. It plays an important role in the product protection and advertising. When consumers take products home, they throw away most boxes or plastic bags, which generates plenty of trash and waste. In addition, the energy consumption and contamination produced by the manufacture and transportation of raw material has brought great burden to our environment. Therefore, the question that how to minimize the impact brought by packaging is concerned by all the packaging designers. The thesis begins under such background.The thesis begins with common lamps, describes the property of lamp and lights, and discusses the design methods of some similar design. The process of design focuses on the application of paper box structure in multifunctional packaging. Plenty of quick sketches was made to work out feasible designs and polish the details. After the basic solutions was made, the author tested the samples and refined the structure. Ultimately, the design achieves its purpose by multifunctional design of six lamp packages.
