Ordinary linear motor is a kind of motor which can directly produce linear motion, as a new type of power equipment, it gets more and more widely used in today’s industrial site,especially three-phase circular tube type linear induction motor that applied in oil field exploration of deep well with the source type system, greatly promotes the development of the oil exploration industry in China, this thesis in view of the circular tube type linear induction motor is analyzed and researched.Firstly, this article introduces the oil exploration industry crosswell seismic source system, and discusses the type design of circular tube type linear induction motor for the seismic source. Based on its special structure and working principle, it in turn for the electromagnetic calculation, parameter calculation and performance calculation according to the requirement, and designs a set of three-phase circular tube type linear induction motor CAD program. Application of this software, we can quickly design work in 2000 ~5000 meters deep underground source with three-phase pipe type linear induction motor’s data such as size, it greatly shortens the design cycle.Then, this paper has a Matlab simulation analysis of variable frequency power supply used in circular tube type linear induction motor for the seismic source with deep exploration, it proves that using OPWM(Optimized PWM) control technology, can effectively reduce the harmonics, improve the waveform, and reduce the switching loss of power devices.Finally, the experimental study is carried out on the prototype, it verifies the rationality of the design, it is concluded that the inverter fundamental frequency settings are the main factors influencing the start-up force when linear motor running. This paper puts forward the concept of practical efficiency, at the same time analyzes the line voltage inverter output frequency and linear motor- starting force curve; and it invents a method of detection of three-phase ac winding wiring, these have important significance to the performance improvement of linear induction motor in the seismic source system.In this paper, the research has certain academic significance and application value to research and design of circular tube type linear induction motor for the the downhole seismic source.
