Abstract/Summary:
Wind energy is one important new energy, the total amount is huge, green and pollution-free, and it is developing very rapidly in recent years and of great utility value. However, compared to the traditional power generation, its manufacturing cost is high while the efficiency is low, to improve the efficiency of power generation has been a focus for modern wind turbine theory. Therefore, with 10 kw horizontal axis wind turbine as research object, using Fluent to simulate flat winglet wind turbine with different sizes, then analyzing different tip winglets’ influence on the aerodynamic performances and vibration characteristics of wind turbine, at last reaching a conclusion that power of wind turbine with winglets amplifiers. The main research content includes:1.Based on Ansys Workbench platform, using Fluent module to simulate wind turbine without winglet, contrasting wind turbines with straight blades and that with winglets, studying velocity field, pressure field and tip round flow’s influence on the wind turbine power, reaching a conclusion that power of wind turbine with winglets amplifiers. Simulating different wind turbine blades with winglets in different velocity fields is to find out the blade with optimal power amplification.2.For single blade of wind turbine without winglets, using modal analysis and prestress modal analysis under one-way fluid-structure interaction, natural frequency of each blade and maximum deformation and prestress of various vibration modes are obtained. Results show that blade with winglet and the size of winglet have more influence on maximum deformation and stress of blade than prestress one-way coupling.3.Based on Workbench platform, using Fluent module and Transient Strural module to carry out two-way coupling analysis on wing blade without winglet,dynamic response characteristics of blade and flow field are obtained, then analyzing tip winglet’s influence on two-way coupling vibration characteristics of wind turbine.This article provides effective reference method to explore the added tip winglet’s influence on aerodynamic performance and vibration characteristic of small wind turbine, the results have important reference value and practical significance for the design the safe-stable operation of wind turbine blade with winglets.
