Current Situations, Problems And Solutions For Zhuhu National Wetland Park At Xiaogan City Of Hubei Province

Located in XiaoNan District XiaoGan City, ZhuHu Wetland Park as the first wetland park in our city, which is mainly formed by the river wetland and pond wetland. Fuhe River and Lunhe River are not only as stream of Yangtse River and Hanbeihe river run across our city, but also play a role of important source of water and flood storage area. Besides, it is critical to improve the ability of draining floods and water security. As well as improving the water quality of the Yangtze River and the protection of the ecological safety of the Yangtze river.The Wetland Park, which covers part of ZhuHu farm, is in the important migration routes of migratory birds and the main habitat of migratory birds. From this point, it is significant for the conservation of the biological diversity. Till today, it takes 3 years only for ZhuHu Wetland park from designing, planning and implementation since 2012. Regarding ZhuHu National Wetland Park in Xiaogan City, this paper makes all-round research in its construction process, identifying existing problems, main practices and achievements, and finally proposes relevant countermeasures that are feasible for ZhuHu Farm transformation into a "city lung, leisure center, and tourist attraction" with green ecological civilization.
