With the development of science and technology, test and measurement technology is constantly improving. Since the industrial revolution erupting and the science developing faster, people become especially more dependent on the accurate measure methods and precision apparatus than ever. The measurement for the weight which is one of the longest developed technology devoid into two directions: enlarging the range of measurement and inventing the high accuracy measuring methods and instruments. the first development direction above is well-known by the story of "Cao Chong weigh the elephant", which tells us a method of devoid the bigger thing to the smaller ones to enlarge the range of measurement. The second development direction is push forward by invention and full use of the novel sensors after the electronics industry boomed.As well known, the quartz crystal oscillator is one kind of electronics components which has its resonant frequency, and it is mainly used by its "piezoelectric effect". The resonant frequency respond to a external force which applied to the surface of crystal, and it is linear and measurable. Thus the scientists invented a new kind of sensor named as“quartz crystal microbalance,QCM ”to measure the weight according to the principal above. The QCM has great features of highly sensitivity, selectivity and stability. If it is arranged as a array, the stability will be fully improved and the range will be obviously enlarged.In this thesis, a new kind of instrument for measuring the micro-weight is designed according to the outputs frequency of crystal. By using the ARM CORTEX-M4 micro controller to deal with the acquired signal, the highest accuracy for weight will be improved to the unit of mg or even ug. At the same time. An assumption is proposed and verified for the QCM array that improving the range of measuring without sacrificing the precision. When doing some experiments, the relationship between the rang of signal and the weight of staff on the quartz is discovered, which will be analyze and use in this thesis.This result can be widely used in the chemical, physics, biological and medical laboratories, and will play an important and significant role in promoting the development of these subjects.
