Gas pipeline is the urban construction of supporting facilities, which is called urban lifeline engineering. The laying of gas pipeline is generally finished according to the early stage of urban planning. However, the ground stack will increase because of the development of city, road widening, rebuilding and construction, the ground stack and so on, which will inevitably cause the internal force change of gas pipeline. And gas pipeline accident could occur when the load exceed the endurance of gas pipeline. So the ground load is the threat that can not be ignored to the buried gas pipeline in the foundation. Once the accidents happen, which will cause gas leakage, explosion and other serious disasters and threat the security of nearby residents. So this paper studys the performance of the gas pipeline under the action of ground load. The main research content and work include:1. Analyze the status quo and development trend of gas pipeline in China, discuss the detriment of buried gas pipeline under the ground load and summarize systematically the influence of buried gas pipeline under the ground load at overseas and domestic.2.To understand the performance of the pipeline under the ground load, soil box is used in laboratory to simulate the buried gas pipeline text. Test the axial strain, hoop strain, tangential strain and the change of earth pressure about pipe under the action of load, and analyze the bearing capacity of gas pipeline.3.By changing the change of underlying soft formation under the pipe, analyze the ground stack effect on buried pipeline during the foundation information change.4.Analyze the force of buried gas pipeline by the ground stack load, summarize the influence factors of buried gas pipeline failure and summarize the corresponding protection measures of gas pipeline.Through the study of the article, getting the stress distribution of buried gas pipeline under ground load, which will bring a certain reference value to the protection of gas pipeline engineering.
