Nodular pile is a new type of frequently-used pile. The Mechanism of action of this pile is like the root structure on that has high bearing capacity under vertical load, uplift load and horizontal load. On the other hand, It has good stability and economic benefits. However, the theory and experiment of the nodular pile is not very mature, especially the effect of spacing of nodule on the bearing capacity of the pile. On the basis of reading and analyzing the related domestic and international literature, this paper deeply researches on bearing capacity behavior of nodular pile with different nodule spacing. The main research contents are as follows:(1)By designing indoor contrast model test and comparing the characteristic of bearing capacity of the nodular pile with the equivalent-diameter pile to find the mechanism of bearing capacity of the inclined uplift nodular pile.(2) By designing a set of indoor model test, comparing the results and analysis, It concludes the characteristic of bearing of the inclined uplift nodular pile under different spacing of nodule and finds the most reasonable spacing.(3) Through the establishment of finite element model of nodular piles with different nodule spacing, to verify the correctness of the result of indoor model test.(4) Through the establishment of finite element model of nodular piles to change the angle of load to research this changing’s influence on bearing capacity of nodular pile.(5) Through the establishment of ellipse formula to simulate the curve of coupling effect. Compare with the result of finite element to verify the correctness of the result of ellipse formula.
