Gearbox is that one of the most important parts of automobile, its function and safety performance affects the running conditions of the whole auto directly, therefore it is extremely important to carry on the gearbox fault detection and anticipating its performance before delivery. Therefore, we develop the related research of gearbox fault diagnosis and development of the system of gearbox fault diagnosis.The gearbox fault mechanism and fault characteristics are researched for the gearbox fault diagnosis in this paper. The order analysis technology is compared to the traditional signal processing ways in the vibration signal analysis and resolve the frequency aliasing phenomenon of traditional signal analysis technology. The filtering order method is used in order analysis to avoid order aliasing phenomenon through the theoretical deduction in order to determine the maximum sampling order. The signal resample is applied to processing the acquisition vibration signal of the running gearbox, then convert the time domain vibration signal into angle domain vibration signal. The application of time synchronous averaging method is applied to separating this signal into the gearbox output shaft and the input shaft, which can reduce the noise of signal and improve SNR. Combing the above theory of the gearbox fault mechanism and the signal processing moths and the auto dynamic parameter, the development of gearbox fault diagnosis detection system which can acquisition vibration signal and speed signal in the acceleration and deceleration gearbox, then gain the order spectrum of gearbox using the order analysis for diagnosis fault.Based on the theory of the order analysis to process the vibration signal of gearbox for fault diagnosis is described in this paper. To get the transmission input shaft and output shaft order spectrum gearbox is in different gears and different speed state which can analysis the gearbox fault and where the fault location is.
