With the global shortage of resources and environmental pollution getting worse, new energy saving vehicles are fully developed. Hybrid electric vehicles have the advantages of traditional vehicles and pure electric vehicles, it meet the the requirements of this current era, so it could have been rapid development. But the technology of batteries has become an urgent need to solve the problem of hybrid electric cars, which the inconsistency of the battery pack resolves is the most critical issue. This paper focuses on Hybrid electric vehicle power battery doing the research of intelligent control.Hybrid electric vehicle and batteries firstly have been given a brief introduction, the research summarizes the current situation of the existing equalization technique and the purpose and significance of the equalization technique.Secondly, the operating characteristics of lead-acid batteries is described in detail. Finally this paper analyzes the existing equalization program, and selects the inductor-way balanced program, and describes the structure of equalization program and the design of hardware.The model of the battery pack balance control system is builded in the Matlab environment, which is did the simulation experiments and analyzed the simulation results,proving the feasibility of the scheme.The software program is written to achieve the function of the battery balance management system, which is based on the hardware.
