In recent years, along with the advancement of science and technology and the development of economic, the design level and construction technology of architecture field have made a leap of progress. On the basis of using function and safety performance of building, People began to pursue heterosexual construction and architectural versatility. As a typical structure, large span cantilever structure have been more and more applied in the actual project.Generally, the large span cantilever structure has a huge scale. Because of the complexity of the structure, the construction period of which is very long, the transmission path of force in the structure is uncertain and the force has obvious dynamics. All of these factors put forward higher requirements to construction progress. In order to ensure the construction progress could be completed smoothly, it is necessary to monitor the structure comprehensively and accurately.This paper carried out the following studies based on the project of crossing battle memorial:1. Monitoring of building settlement and overall verticality.2. Real-time monitoring of the inclination of appearance of the building. Correcting deviations timely. In case of occurring deviation between building exterior and facades of architectural design.3. Stress and strain of key parts, displacement and deformation.(1) Real-time monitoring of tensile strain and stress on the upper lever of steel reinforced concrete to prevent the level is pulled and the level deformation is too large to ensure that the rod stress meet the design requirements during the construction progress.(2) Real-time monitoring of tensile strain and compressive strain on the lower part struts of steel reinforced concrete to prevent the root moment of large truss made the rod localized cracking and the yield phenomenon.4. Deformation monitoring and control of large span concrete girder during the construction.5. By measuring field data of scaffold,combined with the value and theoretical results, grasp the force state of scaffold, determine the stability of the scaffolding structures, and then make reliable predictions, propose measures to prevent the collapse and slip of scaffolding and various unnecessary security risks in the construction process.
