With the accelerating of urbanization, various of novel architectural image, unique idea, with many characteristics of flat Facade irregular high-rise public buildings emerge in endlessly. But for the structure, the more irregular of its flat facade, the more prone to damage when the earthquake happened, which often cause huge casualties and economic losses,so many experts and scholars from various countries t give more and more attention and do extensive studies about he seismic analysis and design of these building.In the face of this kind of problem, we must grasp the seismic concept design of building、cling to performance objective and highlight performance based seismic design, comprehensive take the irregular configuration of Flat、elevation、section and structural unit, which have fluence on the seismic performance of the structure,into account so that the mechanical characteristics of the structure can be accuratly received.Finally correctly deal with the relationship between the seismic design of structure、Architectural modeling art and engineering cost.This article takes a flat facade irregular high-rise building engineering as an example,In order to carry out method of the seismic concept design of building and performance based seismic design into the actual complex structural engineering, we do the following work:(1) Combined with seismic concept design of building and Transfinite situation about this flat facade irregular structure,the overall arrangement and detail layout of structure can be determined.(2) Combined with performance based seismic design, performance objective of the overall structure and structural unit can be determined, which can be used to analysis the seismic performance of structure.(3) The SATWE and MIDAS Building structural analysis software are used in the vibration mode decomposition response spectrum analysis under frequent earthquake so that we can get the performance indicators of the structure,such as period and the interlayer displacement angle. Through the contrast analysis of the two software, the reliability of the mechanical model and program calculation can be verify.(4) Select three seismic waves and use SATWE software to get the elastic time history analysis of structure under frequent earthquake, namely additional elastic analysis calculation of structure under frequent earthquake,which can be used to design the structural unit.(5) Using PUSH&EPDA software to get the static elastic-plastic analysis and dynamic time history analysis of structure under severe earthquake, the seismic response of the whole structure and structural unit can be received, which can be conducive to distinguish the weak link of structure under earthquake.(6) Finally, checking and reinforcing the designing of components and floor to ensure the key components can in good working condition under the seismic action.Comprehensive the above research, it is concluded that the flat facade irregular structure can meet the requirements of the corresponding seismic fortification and the structure scheme is suitable and feasible.
