| Renewable clean energy industry develops rapidly because of energy shortage, in which solar energy is one of them. Converting solar energy to electrical energy and then transmitting to the client, photovoltaic transformer arises at the historic moment. Photovoltaic power station using solar energy as power generation, that’s why they are needed to be built in northwest region that have long sunshine time and strong sunshine. However, the environment in these areas is bad and far away from the downtown, the unattended intelligent PV substation arises at the historic moment and develops rapidly. How to provide users with reasonable solution, how to use solar energy fast, effectively and reasonable, and how to implement remote control computer operation to reduce fault, all these need intelligent planning design to photovoltaic compact substation.Based on the development trend of intelligent substation and characteristics of the photovoltaic power generation, this article designs the intelligent photovoltaic compact substation according to the actual needs of users. On the unified automatic platform, integrated management, control, protection and measurement of various division and components of compact substation systems is set up which can understand in the station control layer the operation condition of the compact substation such as the parameters of current, voltage, load rate. In this paper, according to the structural characteristics, photovoltaic compact substation is divided into three parts, which are HV side, LV side and transformer. It is arranged as "目" shape, and configured corresponding online monitoring equipment, so as to realize the optimization of interval components, protective device, instrument, measurement and control device, and other equipments. Under the circumstance of ensuring the quality and reliability of power supply, intelligent is realized, and the cost performance of PV compact substation is improved further. |
