Tankers are dedicated tank vehicles that used to transport liquid products. With the development of society and economy, the demand is increasing, and a lot of demand from the automotive industry, chemical industry, dairy industry, oil industry, beverage industry and other industrial products has greatly promoted the rapid development of the tankers manufacturing. Meanwhile, during transport tankers also fully reflects its high efficiency, low cost, rapid loading and unloading of goods, labor and less consumption, less loss of cargo and other advantages, but also to a great extent to maintain the quality and value of the goods.Yet the moment, our tankers manufacturing production levels are still in the last century, the seventies and eighties. Most are small converted factory, and technology investment is weak. Production relies on early experience, and the theoretical basis is relatively empty. In the choice of material, tank materials continue to use ordinary carbon steel, satisfy the structural strength and stiffness requirements, but there are self-important, small Load weight disadvantage, can not meet the transportation requirements; in structure, the structural strength of the irrational distribution of localized presence is too strong or too weak phenomenon; in terms of performance, bearing properties and performance continue to rely on older technology, and the single function has been unable to meet customer needs. In this paper, starting from lightweight tankers study, using finite element analysis techniques and methods of combining traditional mechanics of tankers were studied and analyzed in the choice of materials, structural optimization and vehicle performance in three aspects, the article completed its work in the following aspects:(1) Lightweight tankers design:By comparing the chemical composition and mechanical properties of various materials, the article analyzes the feasibility of using low-alloy high strength steel 440L replacing the ordinary carbon steel to product tank, Specifically in terms of tank material weld ability, mach inability, portfolio section modulus tank, tank design calculation standards and the results etc.(2) Strength Stiffness Finite Element Analysis:The article uses finite element analysis software ANSYS, for tankers tank structure and beam structure modeling and meshing, and then applying a load distribution analysis tankers load distribution limits and dangerous working conditions and high stress zone section situation. On this basis, the tankers tank made structural improvements and optimized in order to improve the mechanical properties of the vehicle.(3) Tank modal analysis:In case of no-load and filling, tank modal analysis was carried out to calculate its natural frequency and mode shape vectors for the overall response analysis, seismic analysis, structural design and optimization for solving transient structural etc. to provide a theoretical basis.(4) Performance Optimization:Liquid Tank optimizes performance during transport, specifically including loading and unloading oil pipeline system, electrical braking system, Auxiliary partial structural optimization, etc., in order to meet the needs of the customer market.
