In recent years,China’s rapid economic development is the guarantee of power and smooth continuous safe operation of power facilities, is to ensure that the premise of stable, safe and reliable power supply process. Imperfect power grid operation flatly can cause power outages and other accidents, it will not only bring huge economic losses to the local, but also seriously affected the local People’s Daily lives, the more serious can also affect the national security strategy. Transformer as the hub of power system equipment, the safe and reliable operation is very important to the stability of the power system operation. In the actual operation conditions, and other special circumstances, faced with different load transformer will appear all sorts of aging, eventually lead to its actual operation life than nameplate as life. Therefore, the analysis of transformer insulation aging mechanism, and can accurately assess the operating life of the transformer, safe, reliable and stable operation of power systems, has very important application value and practical significance.In this paper, in view of the epoxy pouring dry type transformer life problem, detailed analysis of the electrical insulation of the epoxy resin dry type transformer aging mechanism, focusing on the introduction of dielectric loss factor of tanδ surrounded the influence of the aging of the epoxy resin. This article not only from the physical and chemical factors on the aging mechanism of the epoxy resin casting dry-type qualitative analysis, also puts forward three feasible mainly life loss calculation method, the thermal aging of epoxy pouring dry type transformer is carries on the quantitative analysis and the loss of life, the analysis of the main transformer insulation aging rate and life lost to run a function of temperature, time and load of transformer.
