Study On Inheritance And Development Of Vernacular Culture Landscape In Hu Bei Macheng

Vernacular cultural landscape can reflect the close relationship between the building and environment, the diversity of settlement and building, the originality of decoration and the material culture and other non-material culture about its rich folk customs. This paper studied on the composition and distribution of vernacular cultural landscape in Macheng Hubei on the basis of investigation. The author summarized features in natural and cultural landscape, temples settlements landscape and village landscape. The author investigated the new project which inheritance and development the vernacular cultural landscape and analyze its merit and demerit. The author put forward methods and suggestions of inheritance and development vernacular cultural landscape according to the theory and combining with the vernacular cultural landscape characteristics and merit and demerit of new project.The chapter 1 introduced the subject background, purpose, significance, content and method, current situation at home and abroad, relative theory, the basic definition and the framework of this papers.The chapter 2 put forward questions. In the view of the urban culture context, the author analyzed the history, development situation in current and some problems during development which allows us to recognize the inheritance and development of vernacular cultural landscape in Macheng is important and urgent.The chapter 3 analyzed the problem. The author mainly research and analysis of the existing vernacular cultural landscape in Macheng, including the natural and cultural landscape: Turtle Mountain azalea flowers sea and Jiulong Mountain geological parks, temples settlements: five brain Mountain taoist buildings, village landscape: Yatou mountains and Xiaoqiyuan village. The author analyzed its features from the site, settlement spatial form, local architectural form, scale, texture, color, and other aspects of spiritual content. The author learned the experience and lessons of inheritance and development from the new projects in Macheng.Chapter 4 solved the problem. The author studied on the success and classic case of inheritance and development of local cultural landscape.Previous the author analysis the characteristics of the vernacular cultural landscape in Macheng, experience and lessons learned from new projects as well as success projects. On the basis of typology, pattern language theory and interdisciplinary theory proposes inherited developed from the material level as well as spiritual level of vernacular cultural landscape. Finally, immigration park design will be described to explain.
