Atmospheric radiative transmission has developed rapidly in recent years, it has been widely applied in the fields of atmospheric and meteorological satellite remote sensing technology. Atmospheric optics is an ancient and young subject, which increases gradually and plays an important role in the fields of remote sensing and so on. The characteristic of satmospheric radiative transmission is a sub-discipline on the basis of atmospheric radiative transmission in combination with atmospheric optics. The thesis comes from an actual project ’The Key Technology and Demonstration of Promoting helicopter’s rescue ability on Severe Sea Condition’, the key technology and application system research of quickly finding target on Severe Sea Condition, which is a major science and technology project in the ministry of communications. Aim at the difficulty of remote search on severe sea condition, design model and develop software of atmospheric radiative transmission, to remove its effect for the target imaging on imaging path. This paper introduces the model of atmospheric radiative transmission characteristics, design, realize and verify the software. The model’s main consideration is atmospheric transmittance and atmospheric path radiation. Atmospheric transmittance is based on the absorption and scattering of molecules, clouds, rain and aerosol particles, including nitrogen, vapour and other gases. Atmospheric path radiation is based on the atmospheric radiative transmission equation, using the Planck function to get the atmospheric radiation, using two-stream approximation and adding method for radiative transfer to get the multiple scattering of solar radiation and thermal radiation, using molecular scattering phase function and the Henyey-Greenstein phase function to get the single scattering of solar radiation.Software implementation considers the development environment, interfaces and flow charts of software. Develop software under the corresponding development environment. After the software completed, take a large number of tests about the result of the software, analyze the results and relative errors. The relative errors can be controlled within 5%, which show that the model and software are correct.
