This paper has carried on the quasi-static reversed cyclic loading test of unreinforced brick walls retrofitted with post-tensioned tendons and verified the test results combining with the finite element parametric analysis, On the basis of the test results and the finite element analysis,the bearing capacity of prestressed masonry formula is put forward. Finally combed with pilot project, the post-tensioned prestressed reinforcement technology construction technology is expounded.9 unreinforced masonry walls were tested under quasi-static reversed cyclic loading,including 2 non-retrofitted walls for comparison and 7 walls retrofitted with post-tensioning tendons. The experimental results showed that after prestressed reinforced masonry wall seismic performance improved significantly. And proved that the reinforcement technique is an effective seismic strengthening method of masonry structure, moreover on the basis of the test of prestressed masonry the stiffness degradation model and the recommended formula for calculating the ultimate bearing capacity is put forward.Using MSC. MARC general finite element analysis software has carried on the simulation to test the walls, the skeleton curve results agree well with the test results. On this basis, we conducted the finite element parametric analysis of unreinforced brick walls retrofitted with post-tensioned tendons and unreinforced brick walls,and puts forward the formula of shear bearing capacity of unreinforced masonry walls, at the same time of prestressed reinforcement design are proposed.The construction technology of the technology is introduced through the rural residential seismic strengthening demonstration project of huo county.The construction technology has good economy; Construction process less noise, little dust and little damage to the structure and little influence on house decoration and usable floor area.In view of the effectiveness of technology, economy, simplicity of construction,the post-tensioned prestressed reinforcement is worthy of promoting in the rural houses reinforcement renovation project.
