According to the national spirit on speeding up infrastructure construction in Xinjiang in which there are many railway projects under construction or planned construction, Xinjiang region is one of the key potential area of railway construction in China. Surrounding the basin of northern Xinjiang is populated areas in Xinjiang, the band of industrial and agricultural and economic development areas, many trunk railways and main railway private sidings areas, and also is the main carrier of speeding up infrastructure construction in Xinjiang area. Because of the special climate conditions, the rapid change of the terrain conditions, and the complex conditions of structure of the areas, the adverse geological and special geotechnical distribution has the vertical zonality, annular zoning and patchy zoning characteristics. In addition to typical montanic landslide and debris flow caused by physico-geological function, wind, snow disease, freezing and thawing debris flow and salinization special rock and soil caused by intense freeze-thaw damage has enormous influence on the special geotechnical engineering, also is the key factor for control of railway line selection. The geological features controlling factors determine that the emphasis of line selection philosophy and engineering measures are different from other mountain areas, due to historical and geographical differences and others, the geological survey and line selection of railway in this region accumulate less experience than other place. Since 2000, the author participated in a number of programs campaign, the pre-feasibility study, feasibility study, preliminary design, construction and other work about the dedicated lines in Xinjiang region, which accumulated some experience. Therefore, the conclusion of the regional railway line selection principles n different conditions specific diseases and different types of engineering measures become necessary. These conclusions are not only conductive to the selection geological survey methods, and provide specific geological measures suggestion, but also conducive to summarization of railway construction planning, designing, siting and construction work.Current data show that, the research and technical summary of the adverse geological on the periphery of northern Xinjiang basin, such as mountain valley debris flow, saline soil, sand are very common,and the analytical summary of the freeze-thaw mudslides is also occasionally seen, but the study of the linear structures (such as railway, highway, underground pipelines, etc.) line selection of how to avoid or reduce the impact of geological disasters under special environmental conditions in the region, especially in complex and dangerous mountain in the face of a lot of factors that led by the gravity of adverse geological hazards more extensive and in-depth, but the differential temperature, chemical factors and adverse geological factors as the leading cause of erosion and geotechnical study concluded special combination is extremely rare, this paper hopes on existing work to complement and contribute, finally to achieve the goal of share and encourage each other.Since 2000, the author has participated in a number of railway lines and much work in Xinjiang, especially projects in the northern Xinjiang basin have similar geological environment. the author analyze the terrain conditions, weather conditions, geological conditions, natural features and hydrological characteristics typical adverse geological and special geological features, etc, also collect and analyze the regional geological environment, tectonic setting, to show their similarities and characteristics, to identify the main controlling geological factors, and then combined with local geological conditions to analyze the disaster types under different conditions and to study the linear structures to the choice and adaptability in the form of engineering,finally this study can have a reference for future planning and implementation of the construction of the linear structures.This paper aims to summarize and generalize the completed project, then obtain the common geological features in this region, finally summed line selection principle, seek to an adaptive and targeted concept of line selection in the region, it is also practical significance to guide the regional geological line selection. |
