Load Switch had a wide range of applications on lOkV electric distribution lines instead of switching device as operating equipment and protective equipment. In this dissertation, the key technologies of the hybrid load switch based on reactive power compensation have been studied, including analysis method of reactive power compensation, the principle of the hybrid load switch based on reactive power compensation, the hardware design of the hybrid load switch, the analysis and modeling process of the electromagnet in hybrid load switch, and a control method based on wavelet neural network for hybrid load switch.By the analysis of time-series and the working principle of the load switch based on switching reactive power compensation, a hybrid load switch has been developed based on diode as a contactless switch which is connected in parallel with the mechanical contact of traditional load switch in order to realize the arc less switch, that mechanical contact device withstand load current in normal condition, and diode device withstand transient current in switching process. It can reduce investment and counteract the current impact to the power supply by using hybrid load switch to control compensation capacitors, and verified by MATLAB simulation.Based on the character of hybrid load switch, designed a new type of dual-pole load switch by combined dual-pole breaker with isolation clearance. Furthermore, designed the hybrid load switch control system, including the single chip microcomputer minimum system, signal detection system, the electromagnet control system, the display system and the keyboard system. At the same time, improve reliability of hybrid load switch by Hardware anti-jamming and software anti-jamming.On the analysis the character of DC plunger electromagnet, a segmented electromagnet has been developed. It can improve the performance of dc electromagnet, Reduce the volume of dc electromagnet, Reduce the wastage of the dc electromagnet by segmented design. At the same time, it can make dc electromagnet easy to push and pull control. Furthermore, use Ansoft simulation software to establish the simulation model of the transient coupled field of sectional dc electromagnet electromagnetic field and mechanical movement, and validate its feasibility by simulation.Finally, proposing a control method based on wavelet neural network for hybrid load switch to reduce the time dispersion of the electromagnet on the hybrid load switch. Using one-step prediction improves the accuracy of wavelet neural network in hybrid load switch operating time. Furthermore, validate its feasibility by dsPIC33F series MCU. These help to establish a theoretical basis for wavelet neural network prediction.
