| The cylinder liner- piston ring is one of the most core components in the Engine cylinder. It has important influence on the performance of the engine, such as lubrication, wear and friction. They have impact both on the performance and the efficiency of the engine, also they play a decisive role for the using life of the engine. It is because of the emergence of laser honing processing technology, the lubrication performance of the cylinder liner- piston ring is improved significantly. At present, the laser honing micro processing technology plays a more and more important role in the engine cylinder.This paper briefly describes the fundamental theory of friction-pairs lubrication, providing a theoretical basis for laser micro-drilling of cylinder hole. The structure and working principle of micro-processing on the surface of laser were also introduced. The equipment of micro-processing includes laser generator, optical system, mechanical system, feedback system, hardware and software of controlling of the system and the auxiliary system, and is a collection of machine, electricity, optical and gas.Take the 45 steel parts for example, the laser micro-processing was based on the micro-machining process. The process parameters influencing surface roughness are analyzed emphatically, determining the process parameters of laser properly. The best optimum technology parameters are found to the concave cavity and the groove. At the same time, the friction performances of laser-textured were experimentally investigated. The optimal parameters of the concave cavity and the groove can be obtained. Compared to the non-laser processing, the friction, the lubrication and the wear resistance of laser processing are evidently improved. |
