In recent years, with the rapid development of Computer technology,Communication technology and Automatic Control technology,utilization of these three technologies to constitute a new system instead of the traditional Track Based Train Control System has become the direction of the urban rail transit signaling system. Communication Based Train Control System has been widely promoted and applied in China,its core is using the wireless communication technology to realize the two-way, continuous, large amounts of information transfer between the train-to-wayside, making the Moving Block come true.Train identification and tracking is a core function of CBTC system, it is the basis for the monitoring of train operation, the correct and accurate identification and tracking of trains is the precondition for a running train, it is also an important way to improve the automation level and service quality of the train control system.This thesis is based on the project "The Accurate Simulation Of Urban Rail Transit System",with train identification and tracking as research targets, especially focus on the train information identification and train number tracking technology. The specific studies include the following aspects:1. Designing a simulation platform of ATS system, which has a relatively complete function. By analyzing the requirements and working principle of train identification and tracking, designing the overall structure and make the project design from the train information identification to train number tracking;2. Analyzing the basis data in the process of the program achieve, including static data and line topological structure. First, design the related data structures for static data in the form of design to meet the needs of the simulation program, and then design the Directed Acyclic Graph for system line, and establish the binary tree in the described by the Directed Acyclic Graph dynamically, and then traversal the binary tree, find the path of the train running;3. On the identification of the train information, designing the technical proposal from three aspects,such as the definition of train number,the obtain of train number and the operation of train number. Design a compact representation of the train number, and obtain the train number information in accordance with the needs of train operations, and then simulate the operation of the train number.4. In terms of train number tracking,designing the technical proposal from three aspects through analysis different train operation modes,such as based on TBTC of train tracking,based on CBTC of train tracking and the two type of the train tracking. By analyzing the existed lack in the process of train number tracking, such as lost train number due to the communication interruption or other causes, the main target is focused on the continuous train identification and tracking in the process of train’s communication interruption and the recovery of communication.5. Finally, based on the actual line data, using the C++ program language to simulate and verify the train identification and tracking function of CBTC system on the simulation platform of ATS system.
