Along with the development of bridge technology and social progress, Cable-stayed Bridge has been greatly developed because of its unique structure and excellent performance,especially was applied more widely in the large span bridge.Guan River Bridge under construction, the span of 400 meters, adopted the design scheme of three span continuous semi-floating twin towers steel-concrete composite beams Cable-stayed Bridge,which is typical cable-stayed structure of the twin towers.Due to the structure of large span bridge structure, the geometric nonlinear effect appear obvious.Meanwhile, shrinkage and creep of concrete have non-ignored effect on construction stage and finished state because of the composite beams.Based on the Guan River cable-stayed bridge,this paper mainly introduced Cable-stayed Bridge geometrically nonlinear theory and its main influence factors.Theory of shrinkage and creep of concrete and the calculation method of composite beam structure also be mentioned,and the calculation formula of the stress and the strain about composite beam in software were given.Additionally this paper made a more detailed analysis of the local bridge deck stress.The construction of the cable-stayed bridge includes a plurality of stages.And the transformations of structure system are more frequent in the long construction process,also,many factors are unpredictable.At the same time,the main beam alignment and structure forces in finished state are closely related to construction steps and construction methods.So the the structural characteristics and stress characteristics in construction process are more worthy of attention.This paper established the plane beam element model of the Guan River cable-stayed bridge by using the bridge finite element program—Midas Civil.Further more it analysed the bridge construction phase,parameter sensitivity and local concrete bridge deck to draw the related conclusion and put forward some beneficial advice for the construction of the bridge.
