With the rapid development of urban transit technology, and it’s characters of large capacity, fast speed, and running on time, more and more large cities choose to establish a urban transit system to solve the problem of traffic jam in the city. Different from high speed railway, the urban transit system is usually under the city, it has a high cost to construct and difficult to reform. And more and more people choose subway to trip around, it will become more and more difficult to meet the needs with existing utilities. So how to improve efficiency of operation with the existing utilities becomes a very important question in urban transit system.It’s one of the most economic and feasible method to optimize the operation process by optimizing the train operation diagram. The purpose of this paper is to establish a reasonable urban train operation model and explore a suitable optimization algorithm.First of all, based on the analysis of train running characteristics and composition of the diagram, analyze the problem of train operation optimization, and confirm the goals and conditions.Then, according to the description of the problem, the problem comes down to a problem of target-constraint. And establish the math model, using algorithm to solve the model.Last, based on the line one of ZhengZhou subway as a background, using the platform of rail transit control system, we simulate the model to test feasibility of the algorithm.
