Yuanba District of Guangyuan City is located in the north of the Sichuan basin,in the south of Guangyuan City,belong to transition from hill areas to coteau, give priority to with low mountains,and the average elevation of this region is 900 meters.Guangyuan Hongyan Jialing River constructing Bridge is the controlling project of the Tingzikou reservoir. The left bank slope of Guangyuan Hongyan Jialing belonged to a bank slope stability, is suitable for engineering construction. Selection of bridge site through the scientific reasoning and planning to implementation after approved by superior departments. But in 2013, since human engineering activitie within a few hundred metres in the downstream of Guangyuan Hongyan Jialing River bridge with a serious excavation in the front of landslide leads to poor stability of the left bank slope;and in 2013,a number of cracks were appearing in the rear platform under the condition of rainfall. Under the influence of multi-phase heavy rainfall in Guangyuan City,the possibility of the slope sliding is very large,meanwhile, due to the bridge site is located in the reservoir area, in the fluence with the water level function of the Tingzikou hydro-junction, it is necessary to make an accurate evaluation about the stability of the landslide and put forward reasonable prevention measures.This article uses the section of the Guangyuan Hongyan Jialing River bridge as the numerical model to evaluate the stability of the landslide and study the suitability of the bridge by numerical simulation methods. This article is summarized as follows:1、This article introduces the engineering geological environment of the bridge area and on the bridge site area of the regional. The bedding slope on the left bank belongs to medium rock propelled type landslide.2、This article introduces the basic features of the landslide, and analyzes its deformation damage mechanism. The formation mechanism of the landslide is slip-cracking.3、This article qualitative analysis was carried out on the bridge the stability of the landslide, and studied the stability of the landslide under different conditions by using the finite element software Geo Studio, the stress and displacement fields of the landslide is studied by means of FLAC3 D numerical simulation under different wear conditions. Integrated analysis imply that the landslide is stable in natural、rainstorm、earthquake and the sudden drawdown of reservoir water level conditions, the safety factor of the landslide is 1.172 under heavy rain conditions, and the safety reserve is not enough, so proposed consolidate + intercepting drain + surface river washed stone cage + monitoring network governance measures.4、To suitability study of guangyuan hongyan jialing river bridge, the First to evaluate the rock mass mechanics environment of the bridge area, and then to the landslide thrust on one side of the bridge pile foundation and slide force was calculated, and finally by using numerical simulation method, the landslide thrust, landslides, stress field and displacement field of guangyuan hongyan jialing river bridge landslide in the three aspects to evaluate the suitability of different working conditions. Comprehensive analysis shows that, after the bridge piers in water drop under the condition of displacement, the maximal displacement only 9 mm, Bridges can be built.
