With the rapid development of construction industry in our country, various types of composite beams emerged endlessly and this provided favorable condition for the emergence of structure with large space, big span and multi-function. Under this background,steel and concrete composite beam with precast concrete panel arised. Although theoretical system of steel and concrete composite beam is comparatively complete, but the research on concrete composite beam with precast concrete panel is very rare.This paper put forward a new type of steel-concrete composite beam with precast ribbed panel, and the flexural performance of this new kind of beam was studied.This paper carried out four-point bending test of 12 steel-concrete composite beams with precast ribbed panel to study their bending performance.The article discussed the parameters’ influence on composite beams’ flexural bearing capacity, derived and calculated the stiffness and the strength of the composite beam and also presented the construction and design proposal of the composite beam.The main work and conclusions were as follows:(1) Designed and produced 12 pieces of full scaled steel-concrete composite beams with precast ribbed panel, and carried out four-point monotonous static loading test on the beams.Through the test,the beams’ damage form, section strain bearing capacity, deflection change, etc were studied.(2) On the basis of the existing theory of composite beams, after considering the composite panel’s prefabricated rate, the beam’s yield moment, ultimate flexural bearing capacity, the yield deflection and ultimate deflectionwas derived and calculated, and compared the calculated results with the measured results.(3) The test results showed that the failure mode of the specimens are bending failure, some specimens could have stripping damage in bending shear zone.Form the longitudinal strain distribution along the section height,it could be seen that the composite beam with precast concrete panel’s overall synergy could be equated with the cast-in-place concrete composite beam,showing good combination. The main factors affecting flexural bearing capacity and stiffness of composite beams are the degree of shear connection and the thickness of concrete. The concrete with full shear connection is, the greater the flexural bearing capacity and the overall stiffness is.
