According to astronomical positioning principle, the thesis establishes three mathematical positioning models. They are single celestial body positioning, double celestial bodies positioning and three celestial bodies positioning. In this design, relative calculation formula can be used to process celestial positioning data and program the celestial positioning including error compensation. The calculator system modules, such as reference clock module, liquid crystal display module, serial communications module, capacitive sensing module, the key module, display interface module, have been completed and written into the single-chip. Program of solution of the dual a transcendental equation and error compensation also has been completed.Navigation positioning can’t rely on satellite navigation and positioning system completely, such as GPS system, Gallieo Satellite Navigation System or Beidou navigation system. With the application of science and technology in astronomy positioning and optimizing in the astronomical positioning theory development, astronomy navigation will be another effective complement for satellite navigation and positioning. When a failure in satellite positioning occurs, astronomy navigation calculator can be effective to ensure ship’s navigational safety.
