With the rapid development of industrialization, large spatial structure is widely used in various types of large convention center, stadiums and industrial plants, etc.The main features of these projects is great length, large span and covering a wide area.At the same time, due to the shape of the building process and needs, setting expansion joints generally were not allowed, and exceeded the specified length value of building temperature zone on Steel Design Code. Therefore, the temperature on Long Span reticulated shells on research projects have a certain value.The paper used the software SAP2000 to simulate a long span reticulated shell model. At the same time, it was studied the influence of temperature effects on long Span reticulated shell affected the performance of force by comparing the calculated result under different temperature conditions. Finally, The paper developed comparative analyses of the three programs to solve the temperature stress on long span reticulated shell structure from the structure stiffness and bearing angle. It included evacuated pyramidic and non-evacuated pyramidic, different span ratio, different seat stiffness of long span reticulated shell at a temperature loads of stress and strain. Finally, it presented effective way to release temperature stress and the conclusions could provide certain reference value for the future Long Span reticulated shell design.
